holes in the sides are for rack,

all holes drilled but until painted none are fitted yet

2 coats hameritr paint over 1 coat high temp paint

Chimney n handles just hangin for effect to show what look like once dries

Also 3 casters bot stable. Will bank off holes and fit four but for time being i will just pit a brick inbetween wheels to balance it

Want let paint dry, then weld chimney on but where welder is wont be open till tuesday

Then good wasoit inside and season

I'll be in Ireland early next month. If you can't find any over there and want to spec out some stainless hardware, I'd be glad to bring some over.

Only putting few tacks on chimney and will touch up paint after

Where in Ireland are you , I go back yearly to visit family ( Silgo, Bray, Ballinaglera ) and will be heading back on 5/27

Good stuff John,

I hopefully wont be too long behind you in completing my UDS.

Will stick a few photos up here when I get it done.

I have also gone with using three coasters - as have read elsewhere that it provides for more stability, do you think the problem with yours is the location of them on the bottom of the drum?

no my issue was that i put them too centered and should put them out to the edge as far as i can

also id go 4, 3 is not as stable as i taught

i had 4 so not sure why i went 3 more me being lazy

i will just be picking up a 4 caster barrell trolley for mine in time

got chimney welded on, just got re aint it and season it all

looks like my lid buckled during welding so not sure will seasl well
might have to use the lid clap to make sure its fullys ealed in when in use

hope get it seasoned friday and cook sat or sunday

Depending on your quality of stainless your magnets may not stick. Send me round trip airfare and I'll stop out and give you a hand. I'll buy the Guiness. Keep us posted, sounds like a good build.

Sounds like you've never been to Ireland, otherwise you'd realize you may lose money on this offer.
