Please MOD this as you see fit but i placed this here because this is where I first heard about this magazine.

I was among the first paying subscribers for this magazine as well as an advertiser. I really liked the first issue and saw great potential in it as im sure many of you have. Im starting this thread to see who, if any of you, have received a second issue of this magazine or had any contact with the company? I looked back through my records and found I havent had any contact with Terry since May of this year when I was promised ad placement in the next issue.

Anyone know anything??

Is the info I found from searching online. I called the number which is disconnected. The website seems to be working but noone responds to contacts.

This topic has been here before....and from what I understand is the mag. put out one issue and failed...I paid for a year and got one issue...there are some people on the board that recommended the mag. and know the guy personally that's why I bought a year subscription..live and learn!!

When he was first starting it up he was showing it off in Lakeland. I thought it would take off for sure. More info in that magazine than I've seen in about 10 other types of BBQ periodicals.

Yep. You've been robbed :x

I wonder what this guy did with all the ad revenue and subscription money??

And I think the reasoning he has given is beyond belief. Here it is:

Because of the great response, we have decided to continue promoting the premiere issue for the rest of 2009 by focusing on magazine distribution in key locations and continue building our growing list of advertisers. Our next issue will hit stands in January 2010 and will be published quarterly, four times a year.

So, the magazine was so good he has decided to not publish any more of them until the market is saturated with a single issue?????

According to the lady that I spoke with a while back, if you want a refund all you need to do is call the 800 number and request your refund.

I did see them at the Jack last year and looked over the samples they had on display, (I think they also had a NASCAR mag too) They were taking subscriptions ($$) and I almost jumped, but decided to hold off until they published. The first edition came out with some good reviews from folks around here. I hope its a temporary setback and things get rolling again.

I used to get Blues Review Magazine for many years and had renewed my subscription just as they ceased print, they couldn't refund folks money, but they did offer back issues (to round out my collection) and another mag stepped up and offered to fulfill our subscription, they believed in the integrity of the publisher and writers. It was a nice gesture, just a sign of the times.

I got one issue. Tried to E Mail them a while back to see what was going on but was not able too

Did you make that for them? What do you mean they got your money and your sign?
I paid for a subscription and traded the sign for ad space. got ad space in one mag.. I got an email from Terry saying I would be in the next magazine also.
