The contest is over and were trying to catch up on sleep and rest:grin: The end results, we took the 8th place ribbon in chicken:wink: out of 66 teams. Our ribs were 19th, pork shoulder 18th and what the hell happend to my brisket I dont know came in at 56.
Are overall ranking came in at 25 out of 66 teams. This years grand champs were Smokers Wild knocking Pink Flamingo out of the running for there forth straight win. All and all we had a great time and look forward to next year.
Both of my kids entered the kids Q. both are under 10. Long story short, my daughter was placed in the 10-15 year old contest (she's 7) and took 3rd place!! Needless to say were all proud of her, she did Sweet and Sour Shrimp . My 9 yr old son took 4th place with his Calzones.
