B BrooklynQ Guest May 10, 2005 #1 This is City Market BBQ. Best BBQ sauce I had in the Texas Hill Country.
B BrooklynQ Guest May 10, 2005 #2 This is Luling BBQ. Too bad it was closed on a Monday when I was there. Hard to believe that a town with a population of what 2,000? can support two BBQ places less then 500 feet apart.

In Texas we'd (I used to live there) drive 70 miles, one way, for a cold beer! Driving that far for 'que was normal. Heck, I had a 50 mile round-trip commute in San Antonio and never left the city limits! San Antonio to Luling was just a short drive.
