Just set the shelf on top of the barrell and traced from underneath!

How about lifting can on top of wood and tracing bottom onto wood? Closer to actual radius.

Yes, I also was wondering about where you got the handle. Was thinking about replacing the wood handles on my chargriller.

That's awesome! How did you put the valves in? We put ours by drilling in big old holes.
