We got our ceramic for this very thing, so that we could have BBQ all winter long. I use it all the time and all winter long. We typically have a few 4-day stretches where we lose the power due to a snow/ice storm. It might not break 0*C for several days. I can get 25+ hours on one load of lump when windy and -10*C. I can tell you, we eat a lot better than all of our neighbors.
