I've been very happy with my Yoder. Solid construction, great smoke flavor and lots of configuration options. An all around all-star.

I bought a Traeger last year to see if I liked pellet cooking. The Yoder was my decision for a year and a half before I bought it, I just wanted to make sure I liked cooking with pellets before dropping big bucks. The Traeger wasn't bad, but left a lot to be desired. Everything I would have wanted to change about it, Yoder already had on their units, so that just solidified my decision.

I have cooked on a Traeger, Blazin' Grill Works and Yoder. IMO the quality of everything about the cooker and the food has been better on the Yoder. And their customer service is amazing also.
