All turned out really good, the guru held her steady at a 250. Thinking I am going to love this little gadget during some long cooks. Brisket pulled just a tad to early but was still juicy and tasty, lacking a good smoke ring though???:twitch:

Thanks for posting. How much battery did you have left after the cook? Can't imagine the smoke ring had anything to do with the controller. Maybe just wrapped a bit early. Good looking food.

It does not tell how much battery is left, unless I missed something in the instuctions. But it was running strong still after 8 hours.. I did not do a foil this time, think I pulled it about a hour too soon. It was almost my best one yet.
I too have been thinking about one of these rigs for my 18.5 WSM. I noticed your dome lid was not 180* away from the Party Q. I would think it would distrbute heat more evenly if if was but I don't know.
