I have never competed in a professional competition- only ameteur. For a KCBS sanctioned event is it frowned upon to do a turn in without skin on chicken?

Most teams turn in with skin on a few have won without. Good luck and enjoy your self.

No skin is better than bad skin. If you can't cook skin as well as you can chicken it is better to go skinless. Judges judge what ever is presented.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I have always presented with skin on and have never had a problem with the one bite-through skin. I just know that KCBS contests are suppossed to be a whole different ball game.
