I know its not a smoker question but I need your expertise. I used my deep frier today for the first time on a turkey which came out great ! problem is I bought the miricle oil last year and I cant find the box so does the the used oil have to be refrigerated after use ??

Thanks all

Stan

filter the oil , either using something from cabela's or gordon's food service that looks like a big funnel with big "coffee filters". slow process. Cooks Illustrated recommends, freezing oil, then in the 'fridge, then in cool place as best methods to store oil in that order. In a pinch you could use funnel and cheesecloth to filter. no since throwing it out!

I filter mine with cheesecloth. I don't freeze or refrigerate it, just keep it in a storage room.
