To test the maverick I received last week I decided to do a leg of lamb using this recipe
http://virtualweberbullet.com/lamb2.html

I got my boneless leg of lamb from Costco on Saturday:

Next I made the marinade:

And added it to the lamb to marinade over night (boy that look tasty ):

Next day put on the wsm at 1, it was done too early at 4 as it was 135 by then. I pulled it and put it on the cooking grate that in put directly on the bottom, coal, part. It turned out pretty awesome and it smelled great

Next I wrapped it in foil and blankets to keep warm to dinner at 5 when I carved it:

Family and I found it really tasty, my 4 yr old asked for more twice . I will do this again and will try a different recipe from my smoke and spice book.

looks great ! I love putting those on the rotisserie.
next time I do one I will take it out of the net, lay it out and
use some herbs, etc and then roll it back up and tie it up and rotiss it.
I love using rosemary on them.
