any of you guys have any or use them?
i had a link to some on walmart.com but lost it. they were 3 compartment w/ individual thermostats but only held 2qt.

or perhaps a hot plate for heat.
i'm trying to save money on sterno here.

I use the same ones as BBQ Bubba----that is when electricity is available. I hate the smell of sterno. I also have a small steam table that runs off of 110 electricity.

Blues, I think this is the one you saw at Walmart but at BB&B.

Almost the same price as the Pro one listed here but with pans (but the really small useless plans). Plus it has only 1/3 of the power of the other model listed, although depending on where you're drawing power that may be a plus or minus.

Just something to add to the thread for any future searches.

thats pretty close to the link i had but i think they were made by GE.
it still wouldn't be bad for other things i do like the marinara sauce & hot fudge.

Here in Utah, the Health Department requires me to use the commercial electric restaurant warming trays when serving outside. They claim that the sterno type chaffers will not stay hot enough to keep the food at a safe temp. The electric ones are great! The only drawback to them is that you need a good supply of power.
