Just when the thoughts of organizing a history making BBQ contest with the largest prize package to date was settling in, it is going to get better! We are pleased to announce that with the support of the businesses in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa we are adding an additional category and another Ole Hickory CTO. The category will be turkey and we will provide the product. The payouts for this category will only pay through three places with $1000.00 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd and $250 for 3rd. The turkey entry will be turned in on Saturday morning at 11.00 AM. The 4 main meat categories will be the standard KCBS times starting at 12.00AM. Additional we have decided to up the Reserve Grand Champion prize package by adding an Ole Hickory CTO fixed shelf united valued at $5858.00. The CTO will have a competition Switch and LP Hook-up.

So let’s see…..that brings this prize package to $85,000.00, if that’s not enough then stay tuned as it just might get better. You can’t never tell! If you know of a team that hasn’t entered there are not many spots left. As I said 54 teams only!
