I have five kids and a dog, so I know exactly what you are talking about.
Between the kid's, and getting up really early to go to work, I can't
remember sleeping past 6AM at the latest. Today all the kids are sound asleep
and I got up at 4:30. I guess I should have had something ready to go on the cooker too.

I went to bed at 3:30 because of baby last night. Smoking a butt tomorrow otherwise I probably would have done the same. :thumb:

There was no late night pron when I rubbed the butt. (That just sounds wrong)

Pulled off the smoker at 195...I think I might even have bark
On for 10 hours on the nose. So it went in the cooler at 12:30 pm.

Do you leave that thermometer in during cook? Wondered about that with a setpoint also.

No I did not..It is the best thermometer that I have right now. Hint's have been dropped for an instant read and a Maverick dual probe.
Looks like it came out just right!
