Looking at buying a turkey/fish propane fryer. What do you guys recommend?

I don't know how we it will try turkeys, but this would be a great all around fryer.

Go State!

Sorry, I'm on my iPhone and sometimes the links get messed up. I'll try to correct when I get home. You can get a decent burner for around $50 an then add accessories as needed.

If I ever get one it will be a banjo burner, then get whatever boil pots you want. Something like this....

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Outdoor-Camping-Propane-Burner/dp/B008O8AKRI/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1380555032&sr=8-12&keywords=banjo+burner"]Amazon.com: High Pressure Outdoor Camping Propane Gas XL Banjo Burner BBQ Stove Cooker with Stand: Sports & Outdoors[/ame]

I bought a large single burner eye with a short Cast Iron stand. (Cabellas)
I had to build a 5' hose, so I could put a 20# tank on the ground under
a camp picnic table. Works well on campground grills too.
I lower the grate to the bottom position and use it as a windscreen.
I have cooked lots of meals on that simple burner.
Mine will regulate down low enough for Pancakes, or I can crank it up and cook a 20 gallon pot of Chili.

The short stand works best for me. The taller stands are less stable and still low enough that I have to stoop over to cook on them.
(Mine came in a heavy duty nylon zip bag. Easy to store)

I have both, as I do fry a lot of walleye for surfnturfs we do, I got tired of controling the oil temp for the fish with the massive propane burner and wind etc. I bought a cheap electric fryer just to fry the fish in. After years of using the propane, I couldn't be happier with the electric for the fish. And I mostly smoke turkeys over the years, frying is good, most around here prefer the smoked.
