Speaking about hospitality...if anyone walked by Roger's Smokin' Blues BBQ camp and didn't walk away with a full belly and a few good stories then ya just weren't tryin.

Roger, you are a great guy and I could sit for days in your camp,... my waistline and knowledge would grow accordingly! Congrats on the Rib call and make sure I get a pic of you and the cheerleaders. :thumb:

Congrats to Moonswiners and Ribs & Bibs! Everyone down there made this a 'must come' event in Ohio.
 
This was our first time in Kettering and it was a really lovely comp to do. So sorry we missed out visiting with the other teams. Wish we could have had some of Rogers famous chili. Our son was sicker than a dog and we didn't get around at all we were too busy cleaning him up multiple times. Made for a really challenging and long weekend.
We did have an opportunity to meet Curt McAdams in person finally and he took some great pictures, we are really appreciative of those. HE is UBER talented. As we were talking we realized that we had actually met a few years ago at a Dr. BBQ class in Detroit. In fact the very first fatty I ever tasted came from him.

Thanks to the folks who did stop by and to the hospitality of all the folks around us, even offering to go to the pharmacy for our son. The event is well organized and they did a great job. I would really recommend it.

What a great event. This was our first competition: We have been at this event the past three years as a vendor selling our dips and BBQ supplies but decided to give the competition a try this year. We don't have any competitions to compare it to but we love this one, it is top notch. Jim and Jim are very helpful and organized. We finished 34th out of the 51 teams and are pretty excited and ready for the next one.
 
It was a great event, and it was nice meeting you Diva Q (and thanks for the Chocolate Cake refreshment).
 
Danielle it was great meeting you wish we could have spent some time but hope the sickness with son is not serious.

Eric dont forget about Stickburning......good seeing you and have fun at the other comps you guys are doing.

To All..........Thanks for great weekend and to those who did not stay Sat. night lets say JayAre stayed upright the whole time on stage singing.
Great weekend with good friends and great food what can more can you ask for.

Oh by the way was Shigs there I didnt hear their name called.......

Roger...if Lang doesn't offer you a full time gig as a sales rep, they'll go out of business. Very few people take as much pride and know they're cooker as well as you do. I appreciate the invite and as always I would love to show you a Green Mountain Grill.

I tried all weekend to recruit Whiskey Bent Bbq's (midwest division) newest member, but he is sold on buying that Lang off of you. If I would have won, it wouldn't have convinced him!

We had a nice weekend...hopefully we can catch Hoosier Crawdaddy and Timothy T in nelsonville.

Hoping to make nelsonville but will be in wheelchair if I do go. Knee replacement. Lang is the way to go in book..........
