This was the first cook on my new 22'5 kettle, that I got for Xmas. Decided to go with Bacon Cheese Burgers.
Made the patties with 1/2 lb of 80/20 beef, a few different spices (garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, sea salt, black pepper), bbq sauce, bread crumbs, and 2 eggs.
Next got the bacon going, for my burgers it's all about coverage, and the weave is where it's at.
Started the Burgers out on direct heat
Flipped them once
Then moved them over to indirect and laid on the Cheese
While the Burgers were on the grill Mushrooms and Onions were getting Happy Happy in the Kitchen. (you have all seen fried mushrooms and onions).
Burgers off the grill and approved by quality control, I like cheese Dad!!!
and on to final Assembly, bacon cut
Buns toasted and rubbed with garlic
Pile on the Shrooms and Carmelized Onions
