Ok that was a really cool cook!!!
let me start by saying I don't like Rubin's and corned beef has never done anything for me and I have never had pastrami.
Wife love's Rubin's. She texted me the other day asking me to make pastrami.
Sure just remember our deal! Never make fresh sauerkraut in our house!!!

Very Very Nice What was with the rice cooker I love pastrami

Well from my reading it should rest in the fridge and then go into a steamer.
It dawned on me I have a rice cooker that has steam setting
worked out great!!
 
Loving it! I just did my first corned beef last weekend and a pastrami is next on the list.

Pastrami season is upon us. I picked up three CB briskets at Publix this afternoon. Welcome to the club.
 
Some mighty fine q there my friend looks great from here making me want to throw one of them on my grill!

Looks great! I picked up 4 corned beef Brisket Points from Safeway last week. I now have 6 in the freezer including a whole packer. Yup, I like pastrami...
 
Beautiful, I started 2 weeks ago with a brisket, corned it and then dry aged it and then smoked it. The best ever part is I know everything that's in it.
