Baby stump vs pellet

Hey there you all I was researching pellet cookers, and had contemplated a FEC100 and a Traeger 075. Principally for cost concerns, I settled down on a Traeger, BUT, as I've done some more research, I've come across the Stump smokers, and the price of the Baby Stump is right in line with what I'm looking at with the Traeger. So I wanted to pose the question here to get some input on the two smokers and the following criteria:

1. Quality of end product
2. Ease of use
3. Construction
4. Overall satisfaction at the end of the day.
5. Suitability for getting feet wet with competitions.
6. Recommendations between the two.

stumps are good treagers are good but night and day just my 2 cents pellets cost woods costs there has been a lot of pellet wins in the big show but most go . with logs to cook with its all in what you like and want im not going to say any thing bad about log set ups we love pellets and have many smokers runnin on them but the log burns are great also are last comp.. we got beat by 3 large green eggs so .. its all in what you like hang in there im sure many will chime in with there 4 cents

I don't have any experience with the Trager's but can give an opinion on the Stumps.

Not sure which end product you are asking about, food that is cooked or the workmanship on the cooker.

The Stump's are easy to operate, load the chute with charcoal or lump, light the charcoal, set the intake valve for the desired temp. load with the meat when temp is reached. There are no electronics or motorized components required to make the Stumps operate.

The Stumps smokers are very well built and will last for years.

The baby stump will work for some competition cooking, it won't allow having all the meats on that smoker at one time.

My reccomendation would be for the Stumps between the two.
