Anyone from Chicaco? (hotdogs!)

I salute you!

I've never had one before. But I decided to make homemade Chicago style hotdogs.

Homemade buns,
all beef dog,
Yellow mustard,
Chopped onions,
Sweet relish,
Dill pickle slice,
Tomato slice,
Pickled sport peppers (aka Serrano),
sprinkle of celery salt

Awesome! You tasted the typical condiments but the pickle and the tomato helped balance out the spice from the spicy pepper. What a cool combo. I'm sold!

Looks good! We also like cucumber slices on ours.

Vienna Beef sell the neon relish in jars, but I'm not sure where it is available.

Excuse my ignorance

Is there something special about chili for dogs vs just regular chili?
We love chili dogs, just have never made them at home.

Wife loves the relish but since I know it got it's start from a company that was in the same industrial complex as the now defunct Zion IL nuke plant and the color comes from the treated water:wacko:
