My wife wanted bacon double cheeseburgers for Mother's Day and I was very happy to oblige-

The basics, 80/20 ground beef, bacon, melty cheese, soft rolls, and a cast iron skillet-

Burgers getting a sear over lump and a few Stubbs briquettes-

Moved the burgers to finish cooking indirect, added the bacon

Buttered the rolls and browned them in the cast iron over the coals

I must say this was one of the most delicious Mother's Day meals we have had in 36 years of marriage.
Thanks for lookin'.

I'll take that any day over a restaurant for Mother's day or any day for that matter.

I've been craving a burger for weeks, you're killing me! :faint2: They look amazing and I'm sure I can taste them, they are fragrant and juicy and caramelized and smokey and creamy and deeply satisfying. :hungry:
