Did my first brisket on the new Superior Smoker. Turned out really well....here are a couple pics. Cooked over Rancher with some cherry and hickory.

Looks like you nailed it!! Smoke ring, tenderness and juiciness too!! You can tell by looking at it that it would have passed the stretch test too. Did you drop something on purpose for Old Fido?:wink:
 
Thanks - it did turn out really good. Very juicy and tender.

The dog did get a couple bites :)
 
Very nice - now I want brisket. I know better to come to Q talk before dinner.
 
Pat, looks great! You did just the flat correct? What temp did you cook at? How long was it on? What kind of new smoker?
