3rd Annual Rock and BBQ on the Water in Jenks, America, The Q Joint Official BBQ Team plied their craft and won first place in pork with a score of 174.825.
We've now gotten blue in brisket, pork and chicken. Ribs are yet to come. We tried a new thing in brisket this time and I think we decided not to do it again. The judges didn't care for it. The same chicken that took first at the last comp scored 15th in this one ( go figger).
For some reason, we only seem to be able to win or suck. Not much middle of the road.
Next year, we'll see if we can get the whole thing put together.
