getting the linn seed oil smell out of burlap

I am doing a test run for a pig roast and i ahve some fresh burlap that smells of linn seed oil or some other kind of smelly oily smell

anyone know how to get this smell out.

I am going to place it over the whole pig to keep it miost after its been on for about 3-4 hrs on the smoker.

any help is appriciated.

I don't think you'll want it in your smoker or on the pig. Find something else.

And I'd like to see pics if you use a weed burner. Remember all good cooks have a fire extinguisher ready.
 
linseed oil is edible but its also flammable. if it were me id get different burlap. using a weed burner is just gonna set it on fire.
 
Well ok I guess I should go back tot he drawing board and see what else I need to use to keep the pig moist.

K went to a fabric store and got some mislin, same premiss no smell!!!!!!!

Go to joanne's fabrics or something like that and get a bolt of cheese cloth.
