Bad Ribs or Kingsford's Comp. Charcoal Sucks???

Sorry never seen enhanced ribs at Costco. I also have not experienced anything foul with the competition briquettes. It could be a bad rack of ribs or I hate to say it, user error, no offense, it happens (poor airflow, too much white smoke, etc.)
 
I haven't had any problems with Kingsford Competition. So far I've cooked ribs, chicken, and butt using it with absolutely no flavor problems.
