wanted to buy 55-gal drum in St. Louis area

I may be shooting blanks here, but look up Industrial Soap Co. in the phone book. However, a) I don't know if they are still in business, and b) I don't know if they sell empties to the public.

So what DO I know? While working for a retirement home in my youth (25 years ago...holy POOPIE!), they used to bring laundry and dish detergents to us in 55 gallon steel drums. As far as used drums go, I figure you likely can't go wrong with ones used to carry soap versus toxic chemicals.
