i'm loving the ease of using the PBC as well as the great tasting food coming off of it. light her up and away we go.

Pit Barrel Cooker rules. this is a cooking machine. very easy to use and just alot of fun. the most important part is that every piece of food coming off the PBC is cooked perfectly. everyone should get a Pit Barrel Cooker for themselves. you will love it.

the end.

Nice work!

I used to do the hang/wrap/glaze method, but now I've gone to hanging
them for the whole cook
. Hands down the best loinbacks that I've ever
cooked. No more wrapping for me! Oh, and there's no need to cut the slabs
in half. Let 'em hang!

There's a rib how-to video at the PBC site.

man, I was set to buy a PBC last night and the damn sewage line backed up and the plumber had to take my cooker fund. Now after this post i'm going to have to whore myself out again to get one of these beauties. Cant wait, great looking ribs!

Nice looking ribs, does the PBC come with that grate or is that a mod?

The PBC does come with the grate.

I'm looking to get one for Christmas to add to my arsenal. I like the idea behind it and love that you can cook anywhere from 1 slab of ribs for a 2 man meal all the way up to 8 slabs for a crowd! Can't wait. Btw Sparky, I liked the way you used the foil to hang the ribs. Real smart thinkin' and real good lookin' ribs! You try any shoulders or butts yet?
