Yes ladies and gentlemen, it's that time again!
In conjunction with their 13th Annual Thunder Run, it's the annual Hell's Angels chili contest coming up May 1 in beautiful Bohemia, Long Island!

I have made them all so far and as usual there are some other brethren teams as well.

It is always an interesting and entertaining day full of fun and good music to boot.

Wes, how much chili do you figure you need to make for this? (High guess please)
 
Well, since you asked anyway, one needs enough to give out to the people who buy taste tickets for the Peoples Choice part of the contest along with a 32 ounce cup that gets turned into the judges for the Judged part; figure around 2 gallons as suggested.
Even if you're not competing, it is still a fun day full of interesting sights, sounds and serendipity.
Hopefully it will be a nice sunny day to hang out and mingle, the band is always real good rockabilly.

You guys must really be doing something special with your chili!
Y'all got a call last year and this years you got 2nd place in Peoples Choice and third in the Judged.
Getting a call in the Peoples choice is outstanding considering the"home field advantage" of all the MC clubs..
Congrats to all.
It was a lot of fun.
