Recieved more than I ordered! 22 pound brisket with attached neck.
Brethren! I need your help!! I am going to try my first brisket. I ordered a 12 pound whole packer at my butcher and received a 22 pound brisket with attached neck. First, is the neck part of the flat or point? Second, how do you trim this with attached neck?
I read that the neck is tough! So, do I remove it? What can I do with the neck meat?
