friend in NYC looking to help with operation bbq relief

An old buddy of mine that lives in New York city is looking to volunteer his time and help out with operation BBQ relief. He is a chef so I'm sure he can help out. He can help with anything from cooking to picking up trash. Any brethren out there know where I can point him?

Also keep an eye on the competition forum here on this site, there is a lot of talk there about where people are cooking, etc, to assist with OBR efforts

I'm surprised that Bloomberg is allowing BBQ to be served in NYC.

He has already banned donations of prepared food to homeless shelters.
