First Comp Registration

Okay, so we (my brother and I) did it - registered for our first contest!!!!

Sam's Club in NJ

Team Name - Jim's Boys BBQ

We hope to register and compete in a few before the Sam's Club. I'm guessing most of you guys will be at New Holland that weekend.

So stoked!!!

Welcome to the madness! It's interesting how Region 5 contest were scheduled. The NJ contest is the same weekend as New Holland which draws BIG from PA and NJ as well as other states. So, many of those teams probably registered for the Laurel, MD contest.
The date for the Laurel, MD contest is the same weekend and two popular local events - one in WV and one in Shrewsbury, PA. Many VA, MD and PA teams go to these comps, so they signed up for either NC or NJ. I'll be in NJ for this very reason.

Some teams are going to NC so they can cook both of these weekends events.

Try to get in a couple of events before the Sam's comp. The Sam's comp is the first step towards a big payout and you want to be ready for it.
