I am the dish bitch for Smokey Joel....

bump

Thought this one deserved a bump. This is a fun contest for a great cause, and is usually a boatload of fun...

Gotta be some local brethren coming....?

Are you and the parsley lady doing this one this year Ron?

Sorry Dann... We were in Philly and I didn't want to spend $15/day for Internet and didn't see you reply on my iPhone.

We're not cooking this one. Amy works every Saturday and Sunday and she took off this weekend for the banquet and she is taking off a Saturday in a couple of weeks for a judging class, so she can't gett more time off right now. Plus, our trailer is in winter storage.

It is a great way to break up the winter, so for those of you is this area please think about it!

I'm carrying around my flask...

See you there.

Dang, wish I had a chance to make it - would love to meet some Brethren. Have fun, y'all.

4 and a half hours for ribs? Thats quick!

Teams can start arriving at 6:00 am. The 10:00 cooks meeting is just that. Cooks meeting. Couldn't have it any earlier, as we have the 9:22 a.m. shot in the Midwest. OK, maybe I like to have a few more if I am not cooking...

I got an e-mail that says they have 12 paid, plus another 6 or so that they're waiting on checks from. This was at the beginning of the week. I'm guessing there will be 15 or so.
