Another thought: One of my teammates works for a distributor that provides all sorts of BBQ-related products to pool and patio stores nationwide, including bagged smoke wood chunks. Could be worth checking your local yellow pages and making a couple phone calls, especially if you are looking for varieties not easily found locally like peach, sugar maple, etc.
Bagged chunks will be more expensive than finding a local wood man though. Good luck!
www.doitbest.com only sells chips not chunks.

I dont know... I purchased 10 bags of Hickory, Apple, and Cherry that
say "chunks" on the bags. The "chips" in them are about the size of
my fist+-
I just said that I was looking for apple, cherry, hickory wood for burning in my bbq pit. I got a truck load of cherry for $40
