Hello name is Jake entered my first KCBS backyard event this past weekend and have gotten addicted to competition already. I have cooked for years but learned a lot preparing for the backyard event. I did place first in chicken and 4th in ribs and brought home the grand champion trophy!! (beginners LUCK!!)
I am looking forward to learning more from ya'll!! I usually cook on a bayou classic version of the green egg but for the competition we cooked on a 250 gal propane tank conversion. ALL ADVICE WELCOME!!
