Hi All-

I'd like to buy a gas burner for general outdoor cooking such as crab boils/turkey frying/wok stuff.

Need a recommendation on what's best in high-btu units as I'd rather go big and have extra btu's available (vs. buying a too-weak unit and having buyer's remorse).

What say the Brethren???

Thanks in advance!

Well, there you have it.

Didn't know to look into the brewing world. Many thanks for that!

Thanks, that's a good lead. I like that they have burner components available in many configurations.

For a single burner I have an older Bayou Classic Burner, But recently I purchased a 3 burner Camp Chef unit. It is not only a burner, but you can buy modules for it, Griddles, Pizza Oven, Dutch Ovens, ect...

If you can wait a month or so..... Costco has these for around $160.00, quite a discount. I like it because it's portable and has many accessories for multiple uses.

Nice stoves , I got one from Craigslist for under $100.00

Bayou classic with stainless steel stock pot. Dungeness season is always a good excuse to break it out.
