I fired up the UDT to make some tandoori chicken and naans. The cook was terrific, had a house full of guests and everyone had a great time. Sorry I don't have many pics of the plated/finished product, but there were 10 hungry mouths to feed, and things moved kind of quickly once the grub was up. I used B&B lump (my preferred fuel for the UDT) and lit her up about 5pm on Sat. The chicken went in about 8 pm. Cooked for 10mins, rested outside for 10mins, then back in for another 10mins. Came out perfect. The naans only take a few mins each and were very soft (my wife is the expert naan maker).

I know I've posted pics of the UDT before, and usually seem to cook chicken in it, but we made naans after a long time, and thought folks might like to see how they're cooked stuck onto the side of the tandoor. Its totally possible to make naans on the grill or in the oven, but you get extra points for making them in a tandoor! :-D

If only I had the room on my patio for all the different kinds of cookers I'd like to have. The UDT would be right up there on my list. Love to see your posts. :thumb:

Sounds like I missed the other pics of the UDT. Where can I find them please?
