Who makes Mavericks?

The 73 looks different

It sure looks like an ET732, but cheaper! I wonder what the shipping costs?

You may be on to something here.

Okay, so check this out. I found the "Chargriller remote thermometer" for sale on Walmart.com and wayfair.com

I guess Redi-Check is the manufacturer. And, the price depends on who packages it

And Amazon

All the same part number 6206

The cooker temperature probe looks different than the one that came with my ET-732. I wonder if it covers the same range. Mine is supposed to go a bit over 500°F.

Just because there is an PO box in Jersey is no guarantee it is assembled there. I would be willing to bet they are assembled in China , Taiwan , or RP.

I would like to hear more about this as im considering buying a maverick 732 gonna have to do some research on this one

In an email I got from Chargriller
"The thermometer will monitor internal temperature of meat from 300 feet. The
receiver displays barbecue temperature up to 572 degrees.
Both probe wires are heat resistant to 716F"

Maverick on the left. Chargriller on the right. Only difference I see is the chargriller's ambient probe is long and pointy. Dual purpose I guess. I'll test both tomorrow
