Wife loves some ribeyes and I aim to please.

Had to get the coals lit proper like.

A few sips later and a fire was made.

Smiles from the old lady. Happy that this wont be another 11 hr beef project.

Chose not to marinate the steaks.....but to enjoy our own marinades....Crown Royal for her and Black Crown Buds for me.

Everything looks good. How's that black crown?

It is mighty good. I've yet to find someone who doesn't like it. I believe it was the winner of their recent brewmaster trio 12-packs.

You've done good Dub!!!

That steak aint half bad either!

Lol. Thanks.

I still wonder sometimes how I keep her. Must be the grilling.

Sweet potatoes outa the foil and sliced, buttered, cinnamon & brown sugar.

Friday night ribeyes is a great tradition. Mighty fine lookin' grub there!

Was a great night at home.

I never took any pics after getting steaks inside. Things sorta went fast and furious after that. Perfect medium-rare.

The Plowboy's Bovine rub really did great on the steaks. Versatile rub.

I've been doing so much smoking with that Akorn lately, I'd almost forgotten how tasty the high temp sears can be.
