Picanha and wings

Some family are coming over.
So I hung a 3kg picanha cut and 6 skewers with wings.
The picanha was smeared with bbq sauce and rubbed with a mix of salt pepper garlic and a lot of dried herbs like Uregano thyme basil and more.
Wings were dipped in bbq sauce and tiger spicy sauce and rubbed with pepper paprika cumin and brown sugar.

There will also be Goose breast and cowgirl's bread.
My wife's making salads pasta and baked potatoes.

Very nice! Picanha is a favorite around casa de gtr - cooking a bunch tomorrow in fact. Love that stuff!

I got to use my new slicing knife which worked great.
Hanging gives me more room in the smoker and oddly a very even cook from top to bottom.

I can't stop making it and they can't stop eating it. It was gone in 15 min.

BTW some wings on the first skewer slipped down to the coals as I hang it.
I took some wire and rolled it around the bottom of the skewer to secure the wings from dropping. Not the greatest solution but it worked. It was hard to open up and free the wings afterwards. Any suggestions to holding food on an upright skewer would be appreciated.
