My buddy FARKLF did some cooking this afternoon on his UDS and asked me to take pics and share them with the Brethren, so here they are:

First, here is his UDS:

I went home with a care package and I can attest that it was good!

that, is how the ugly drum should be. UGLY! I love the paper airflow device. Someday, someone will be searching the site for "paper airflow mod UDS".
Awesome food!!!

Great looking grub! Thanks to you and FARKLF for sharing the pics.

funny how the the ugliest and simplest cooker turns out the great cooks. kiss is appropriate for sure.

Thanks Chris! You made the drum look better than I have ever seen it. It sure does smell good when it cooks. One day, I'll make a newer one that's better looking. I love my drum. I'll start a business and call it Drummer Boy's Que.!!!

Looks like he'll love using his drum. Is the beer bottle empty or is it me?

It's amazing how such good lookin food comes from such a ugly thing as that. It's time for a new beer it's been empty the hole time.Sometimes I think I cook just so I can drink .

Nice drum!! I wouldn't leave that drum unattended because if that paper catches fire you might get an unexpected rise in temperature.
