My wife is visiting her friends in NC this week. I took the week off to rejoice in being a bachelor for a few days. It's a hands down gorgeous day here to be out in the smoke. :-D

The festivities started this morning with a ribeye for breakfast:

The smoke today is short ribs. They're slathered with Worcestershire sauce and rubbed with Bone Suckin' Sauce steak seasoning. On the Assassin with a load of mesquite to get some some color and cook a bit:

Almost 2 hours in, and pulled to pan with a shallow bath of beef broth and more Worcestershire sauce. It's covered and will steam away for a couple of more hours.

I always love my bachelor times. Let's me get really creative...

No b!tchin in the kitchen.

I do 3,2,1 Ribs for me and the dog. Make a pile of meat sticks to smoke. While the stuff is out, make some Italian Sausages. Just get wild and busy.
And play at will.
 
My batchin’ days: 1) hang out at golf course or hunt depending on my mood and time of year, 2) Shiner, 3) Ribs, 4) wings, 4) pepper poppers. Then I rinse and repeat.
