Let that sit refrigerated for 4 hours then add BBQ rub. I used Plowboys BBQ Yardbird Rub this time...

Ooooo!! Them some good lookin' wangs you got there!:thumb:

Look good!
Man, I just can't justify in my head the need to inject each drummette, though. Is there that much difference between injected and plain? Inquiring minds...!

I like them because the sauce flavor gets inside the wing, and the rub flavor crisps up on the outside! A lot of my friends and family like them because they aren't as messy as traditional wings tossed in sauce...

It would be quite a process if you had to do 50 lbs of wings!!!

Man those look really good. Where can I find that injection-marinade? Is that store bought or homemade? If homemade is there a recipe you can share?

Thanks, Toad. I may just have to try that idea on a few. Man, you could create some killer hot wings that way... Maybe for this year's Midwest Bash, yeah. Bigdog and Rookie Dave - put asbestos toilet paper on your packing list.

Yeah, I'll be injecting some wings with our Xtinction Sauce for some "friends" for Superbowl Sunday!:flame:

"Xtinction", eh? Sounds good! Don't see it on your web site, though. Liability issues?

It's a new brand we launched about a year ago. The original Xtinction Sauce uses Ghost Chiles (Bhut Jolokia) and Red Habanero Chiles. I still need to get the website up and running. There is a place holder there now if you want to see the logo...

We sell it locally and I think Ruff's BBQ Shoppe sells it on their website (looks like they still need to get a picture up)
