This was Charred Apron's entry in the 2015 "It Came From the Sea" Throwdown.

As chosen by DrewZ for winning the "Leftovers!" Throwdown

CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - READ BEFORE ENTERING

DrewZ said:
Since I made the winning dish on opening day of trout season, why not a fish/seafood throwdown -- anything from the water -- freshwater, saltwater, home-caught, store-bought, fish, crustacean, bivalve, cephalopod, whatever . . . just as long as it's grilled or smoked.

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 4/28/17 through
the entry submission deadline of 12pm (NOON), Central US Time on Monday 5/15/17.

Entry pictures must be submitted by 12 p.m. (NOON) Central US Time on Monday 5/15/17

I think this was asked before, but I forget the answers....
Is a Blackstone griddle allowed?

I've got an idea. It should guarantee me another Top 20* finish. May involve a smoker a grill a flat top and a cast iron skillet. And Green Chile. Neat category selection.

*as long as 20 or less enter :/))

Please use the following picture for my entry instead of the picture in post #10. As I mentioned in my cook thread, I wish there was a mid level filter. I like the enhanced color sometimes, but others it looks a little fake.

After seeing a few of these entries, I don't think mine should even be on here!!

WOW! Holy Mother of all Seafood throwdowns!
EVERY SINGLE ENTRY IS KILLER!!!!

My first and very humble entry.....Green Lightning Shrimp:

A paste of cilantro, scallions. jalapenos, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lime juice to marinade the shrimp - some reserved for dipping.

Grilled hot and fast on a BGE,, and it rocks!
