The lambsquarter is growing well here.. I like to pick them when the plants are young and tender.

I cooked some wild onions in bacon drippings then added the lambsquarter..

grilled some venison backstrap from this last season .....

sauteed a few of the wild onions with some morels.... made a sauce with sand hill plum wine...

Jeanie, do you have a twin? Everything you just "whip up" takes me forever. You've got to have a counterpart helping out. Or I am just a slow as slow is. :noidea::faint::noidea:
 
That's the first time I've seen lambsquarter used in cooking. If you need any extra I've got a few acres of it on my farm!
 
I've heard of wild onions, but the lambsquarter is a first. Looks very good though, and that venison is spot on!
