Traeger insulation blanket

Anybody who own a traeger have one of the traeger insulation blankets made by traeger? Winter is coming, and I like to smoke in the winter more than the summer. I was wanting to know if these things work well? Only like 150$ so was thinking about purchasing one before the upcoming cold.

Insulation jackets work well, I had one on my Yoder YS640. I have also read welding blankets work very well also and cost less.

I use a welding blanket on mine. No it's not cut perfectly, but it wasn't $150 either. :smile:

I agree with Arlin, welding blankets work well.

When I lived near Buffalo, NY I used a welding blanket and then put a padded moving blanket over the welding blanket. Worked like a charm even in blizzards.
