There will be no BBQ event at the Podunk Blue Grass Festival in August. They are putting together a new event for BBQ in June.

No we are not. We are looking at doing a new event in June with BBQ
competition.

Thanks for the confirmation Guy.

I think it looks like we'll do Grill Kings and then New Holland for 2006. I just want to make sure I get in the application early so we don't get closed out in case New Holland has a cap on teams.

We are going to pass on Highland as of now. Still would love to hear about Arlie's Mohegan contest when that gets nailed down.

Last year New Holland was the same weekend as The PA Cabalas contest 30 miles away. I think they had 57 teams (biggest contest in the North East). They have space for about 70 teams. You can reserve your space from previous seasons, but it wise to get your application in as early as possible. I'm set up near the Kids-Q spot. Watching that is one of the highlights of my season.
