Had a strong craving for Tri-tip last night, and happened to find a choice specimen at Ralphs, which is somewhat unusual. Nonetheless, it saved us from a trip to the madness known as Costco.

Here it is after 1.5 hours with a reverse sear over oak:

As soon as I began slicing through that meat, an idea began brewing:

I think I will build a GIANT french dip sandwich:

I forgot to mention the Meatwich was delicious. Too bad I didn't do this 2 weeks ago - I might have stood a chance at the Sandwich Throwdown...

I am going to do this again, but next time I'm going to build an even bigger Meatwich. :icon_devil
