Me: you didn’t answer my question-isn’t this cool for the patio?

I’ve not inventoried my CI Collection in a while. My son & DIL have taken a few, Ive gifted a few to family some nicer vintage pieces to friend’s daughters and sons weddings. I honestly don’t know what I have. More than 2 though :))

We used to have a small pot bellied stove on the deck for cool evenings but unfortunately it turned out to be a wasp magnet.
I guess only using it a few times a year wasn't enough to keep them away.
I would love to have one in my basement family room though.

I was exploring the possibility of putting one in our hunting cabin. I was taken aback by the cost of properly venting it--as much or more than the stove itself.

Wait , wait this is my heater in my man cave and yes it cooks a mean pot of chili in a cast iron Dutch oven!

Ummm who wears the pants in your family Adams...

Just go buy it, it would be great to cook on with your CI collection!

When I was a kid, we used a pot bellied stove to heat our house. Of coarse the living room was really the only room that was half way warm. I remember we always had a pot of water on the top to keep moisture in the air.

Those little stoves put out a lot of heat! Great for a canvas wall tent.
