Practicing for Dover this w/e. Had a friend, his brother and his 85 y.o. Mom over to judge. She is recovering from lung cancer surgery and this was her first trip out. Didn't get any pix of the sides tho :eek: - mac n cheese with fresh Hatch chile's from the garden and charro beans.

Chicken in the back is just regular rub and sauce. Front is a rasp/tequila marinade with a rasp chipotle sauce. It was very good, just not sure judges are that open minded???

Very nice looking, I'm sure your "judges" gave you high marks!
 
Everything looks great. When my wife and I do practice cooks, the neighbors mysteriously end up at our house! Its amazing what the smell of smoke can do!
 
It all looks good. Hope you got a walk from the judges!
 
I have seen too many ribs this weekend, my wife says we are having ribs next weekend now! Good job
