Twerking my butt, with heavy pron.

Well I wanted to get this on, because it is supposed to rain the next few days, which it is now.

First let me apologize for the crappy cell phone pic, it is all I have at this time.

Secondly I still can not get comments inserted between photos.

Thirdly I will not do spam again, it went on the smoker naked. I made a sandwich, it was a huge waste of bbq sauce and bread, don't get me wrong I like spam just not like this. I would rather do a bologna chub, which I have, it was good.

In the photos of the butt, it does not look to be very heavely seasoned, however it is, I only used salt, pepper, garlic power, and onion powder. I chose not to inject, manly because I could not find my injectors, its been so long. I used oak exclusively for this cook. I wanted to go hot and fast but I only managed to hit 300 a couple time briefly, mostly it hung at 240/250 so the cook went long.

This is a lot of pron for me, so don't go expecting pron from me, belive me you will be the winner. :wink:

Butts look great. I wasn't a fan of smoked SPAM, but I have never had it plain, so I could hate it that way, too :becky:

I think this would not be anymore acceptable, Landarc suggested wrapping it in bacon, that may have made it a little better, probably not, just spoil the taste of bacon, I did not have any at the time.

Butt looks good Mo-Dave.... Spam ACK!!! reminds me of some of stuff in the leftover C-rats from WWII they forced us to eat in Boot camp and FEX's just to get rid of the inventory until 1985 when they finally all expired .

That don't look half bad, taters are cheap. They wont be smoked, and I don't have any Plowboy's, but the spam should have enough smoke flavor as is. So it could happen. :thumb:
